Biography
Bionote of Aarti (Author) Aarti, a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the esteemed Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, is currently engaged in cutting-edge research endeavours. Her academic journey is driven by a profound passion for exploring the intersections of feminism, gender studies and the struggle against oppression. She is an academic focused on gender studies and feminism in literature. Her work explores complex female characters who defy societal norms and examines the emotional and psychological strength of women as represented in literary works. She enhances the understanding of diverse female experiences in global narratives by examining the intersections of gender fluidity, empowerment, and gender studies, thereby creating new opportunities to explore the emotional and psychological complexities of marginalized characters in literature. RESEARCH & ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS • Three International Conferences Attended (2024-25) and Presented papers on Gender disparity discussions . • Two International Journal Paper Published (2024-25) – and other reputed journals. • LangLit: An International Peer-Reviewed Open Access Journal Paper Published (2024) ISSN: 2349-5189 • Two National Conferences Attended (2025) and Presented papers on Algorithm Bias and Gender Representation: Feminist Perspective on AI-Driven Marketing at Amity University and “Echoes of Silence: Communication, Gender, Marginalization of Voices and Quest for Equality”at MRIIRS University. • Seven Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) (National level) Attended (2024-25) – Under the Ministry of Education, Government of India (NITTTR Chandigarh, One Week). • Attended (2025) an international workshop on Creating writing on Visual Expression , gaining valuable insights and expertise in the field. • Abstract has been published in the book titled “National Seminar on Exploring Communication’s Historical Origin”, bearing ISBN: 978-81-981444-6-1 Page no. 39. This publication adds to academic credentials, reflecting research contributions in the field of communication and historical studies. • Actively participated and volunteered in “INNO SKILL 2025”, organized by Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad, on April 3rd & 4th, 2025. As a researcher of MRIIRS and contributed under the Media & Literary verticals in the Stumper segment, showcasing her expertise and enthusiasm for literary and media engagement. One of my book chapters, titled “Whispers of Nature and Women: An Ecofeminist Reading of The God of Small Things,” was published in 2025 in the book Traversing the Terrain of Femininity (ISBN: 979-8900546001).
