Dr. Sarita Rana is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 15 years of enriched experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and leadership. Currently serving as the Associate Professor & Head (MBA – Finance) at Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research, Indore, she has significantly contributed to shaping business education through innovative pedagogy, quality research, and institution-building initiatives.
She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, along with qualifications in Economics, MBA (Finance), M.Phil., and TESOL certification (Canada Board Exam). Dr. Rana has guided multiple PhD scholars under DAVV and continues to mentor emerging researchers. Her research excellence is reflected through numerous Scopus, ABDC, UGC Care, and ISBN publications, along with three published patents in the domains of sustainability, supply chain innovation, and AI-enabled systems.
She has successfully organized more than 10 national and international conferences, FDPs, SDPs, and workshops, and is a recognized reviewer for reputed national and international journals. Her academic leadership extends to BOS, NAAC, NBA, research supervision, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
Dr. Rana has been honored with prestigious awards, including the International Excellence in Research Award (2019) and Best Women Researcher Award (2024).
A certified Innovation Ambassador (MoE’s Innovation Cell) and a member of the DAVV Observation Committee, she actively contributes to institutional policy, accreditation, and academic governance.
