Tasiu was born on 10th May 1990, and his parents were Abdullahi Yusuf Bature and Maraliya Abubakar. Abdullahi born in Jibia, and later he was transferred to Gurbin Baure as schoolteacher in 1979. Maraliya’s family emigrated from Gusau, Zamfara State and later settle in Maraka, Niger republic. Tasiu was born in Gurbin Baure, Jibia and attended Gurbin Baure Model Primary School in 1996, graduating in 2001. He also, attended Government College Katsina from 2001 to 2007 and later went to Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic from 2007 to 2009 where he got upper credit in Diploma Mathematics Education. At University level, he had shown that he was an extremely able mathematician in Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina. He graduated with first class in his B. Sc. Mathematic degree in 2014. After graduating with his first degree, Tasiu won a scholarship for master’s program from African Institute for Mathematical Science (AIMS) and went to the Stellenbosch University, South Africa where he studied for a master’s degree and obtained distinction in his final project. He was awarded an MS. In applied mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Michael Grinfeld, University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom in 2017. He later back to Nigeria where he did M. Sc. in pure mathematics with first class in his course work in 2018. In addition, Tasiu got a scholarship from the Nigerian Government under the Tetfund and continued to undertake research at Universiti Sains Malaysia there for his doctorate in 2025. His thesis advisor was Ass. Prof. Mohd Hafiz Mohd and doing the research in ecological modeling. On Friday 29 December 2017, after gotten an employment from Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria, Tasiu married Hauwau Kabir Ummy, the daughter of Alhaji Kabir Kado Kofar Bai, Katsina and has a one son named as Abdullahi Tasiu Abdullahi (Ashraf) whose was born on 1st October 2018.
