Justus Kwesiga was born on 3rd May 1992 in Kiryandongo District, Uganda, to a humble and hardworking family that nurtured his early love for education and community service. He began his primary schooling at Busiisi Primary School in Hoima from 1998 to 2004, later joining Kabalega Secondary School in Masindi for his O’ Level studies from 2005 to 2008. He completed his A’ Level at Merryland High School, Entebbe, in 2010 before proceeding to Makerere University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Statistics in 2015, demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Driven by a deep passion for research and data science, Justus pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), India, between 2022 and 2024. Over the years, he enriched his expertise through numerous professional certifications from globally recognized institutions including Johns Hopkins University, Duke University, IBM, the University of London, University of Michigan, Imperial College London, and the University of Tokyo. His career spans roles as a lecturer, research assistant, consultant, Managing Director of Joystus Consults Ltd, and peer reviewer for international scientific journals. He has authored several research papers covering public health, road safety, youth behavior, banking systems, and vaccination uptake, which are published in academic journals and accessible on ResearchGate, Google Scholar, Academia.edu, and other digital platforms. Known for his resilience and commitment to community upliftment, Justus continues to contribute to knowledge, mentorship, and evidence-based development in Uganda and beyond.
