I am Dr. Rev. Pahiyangala Sumangala, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Archaeology and Heritage Management. My academic and research interests span across prehistoric archaeology, environmental Archaeology, Settlement Archaeology, heritage management, and Cultural anthropology. These interconnected fields have shaped my scholarly approach, allowing me to explore human history through both materials remains and cultural perspectives. Over the years, I have actively participated in and led several archaeological excavations and explorations across Sri Lanka.
