Dr. Edgar B. Manubag is an Associate Professor at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University in General Santos City, Philippines, with nearly three decades of experience in higher education, research, and professional practice. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organization Studies from the University of Southeastern Philippines, a Master of Science in Mathematics from Notre Dame of Marbel University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Cum Laude) from Notre Dame University. She is a licensed Civil Engineer, having passed the licensure examination in 1992.
Dr. Manubag’s academic expertise spans organizational studies, sustainability, civil engineering, mathematics, and education. She has taught and mentored undergraduate and graduate students across these disciplines, led curriculum development initiatives, and supervised master’s and doctoral research projects. Her work emphasizes organizational development, sustainability in education, digital transformation, and smart and resilient infrastructure.

Beyond academia, Dr. Manubag has professional experience as a project engineer, resident engineer, and project-based consultant in the construction and mining sectors. She is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Civil Engineers, a member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, and the Chapter President of the Philippine Statistics Association–SOCSKSARGEN. Her professional certifications include Safety Officer IV and Pollution Control Officer, reflecting her strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
