Dr. Naiya Shashikant Sajjan is an Assistant Professor and an accomplished educationist, researcher, and academic writer with extensive experience in teacher education and educational research. She holds multidisciplinary qualifications including B.Com., M.Com., B.Ed., M.Ed., LLB., and Ph.D., reflecting a strong interdisciplinary academic foundation.
Dr. Sajjan has served in RFS B.Ed. College Efilieted by SNDT Uni. In Bardoli Surat. She has completed her Ph.D in regular mode, in 2023 at IITE Gandhinagar. She has actively contributed to ICSSR-funded research projects at the national level. She worked as a Research Assistant in the completed ICSSR project titled “A Study on Assess the Quality of Early Childhood Care and Education in Gujarat State”, under the coordination of Prof. Jayna Joshi at IITE Gandhinagar (Funding Agency: ICSSR; Duration: 01 January 2024 to 28 February 2024; Project Grant: ₹8,50,000).
She is previously associated as a Research Associate with an ICSSR–Delhi funded project titled “Impact of Sanskrit Literature as Garbha Samvad on Pregnant Women: A Socio-Cultural Analysis”, under the coordination of Dr. Bhairavi Dixit at Children’s Research University (Funding Agency: ICSSR, New Delhi; Duration: 01 March to 31 july 2024 ; Project Grant: ₹5,00,000).
She worked at Children’s University, Gandhinagar, as Personal Assistant to the Registrar from 01 August 2024 to 30 June 2025, where she was actively involved in academic coordination, documentation, and institutional support. Subsequently, she served at Children’s Research University, Gandhinagar, as a Research Advisor and Research Facilitator from 01 July 2026 to 13 August 2026, contributing to research planning, mentoring, and project facilitation in various departments like testing and evaluation and vidhyavatika.
She is presently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sabarmati University, Ahmedabad, from 14 August 2026 to till date. Her research interests focus on teachers’ professional well-being, frustration, adjustment, emotional intelligence, foundational literacy and numeracy, educational policy, assessment and evaluation practices, and teacher education.
During her educational carrer she wrote 16 research papers attend 6 seminars a Research Methodology cource as well as she is also a reviewer for several reputed international journals. She was awared by the Scheme of Developing High Quality Research (SHODH) by the Government of Gujarat in 2021,durng her Ph.D., This book reflects her sustained academic engagement with teacher psychology and aims to contribute meaningfully to enhancing teacher well-being and improving the quality of education.
