Moonsun Farzana Momee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Engineering and Technology at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Her professional interests include technology-assisted instruction, instructional guideline development, materials design, and research in food engineering and applied nutrition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering in 2020 and completed her Master’s degree in Food Engineering in 2022, with her thesis focusing on the nutritional assessment of Tilapia and Pangas. She consistently achieved top academic results throughout her school, college, and university education. Beyond academics, she has actively engaged in nutrition outreach activities through the Nutrition Club, participating at the National Nutrition Carnival, where she secured third place in the food design competition. She has received professional certifications in Microsoft Office applications, University teaching pedagogy, communicative English, OIC/SMIIC halal product standards and testing, and national skill development programs. Her achievements also include awards from national science and technology fellowships, research and development projects, and BAURES-funded research. Additionally, she was recognized as the best poster presenter at an international conference for her research on the effect of beetroot color on lemongrass-flavored ice cream.
