Dr. Udoka Chinedu Ikediuwa is a Nigerian academic and statistician currently serving as a Lecturer I in the Department of Statistics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. She has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Statistics (2024), an M.Sc. in Statistics (2012), and a B.Sc. in Statistics (2001), all obtained from Imo State University, Owerri. Her academic journey began with the WAEC certificate in 1995 and First School Leaving Certificate in 1989. She has progressed through various academic ranks, including Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer II, demonstrating steady professional growth in higher education. Her teaching and research interests are rooted in statistical modelling, time series analysis, biostatistics, survival analysis, and applied probability.
She is an active researcher with an extensive publication record in reputable national and international journals, contributing to areas such as econometrics, epidemiology, demographic analysis, environmental statistics, and statistical modelling. Her research includes work on mortality modelling, crime statistics, financial market analysis, and time series decomposition. She has also contributed to several collaborative studies and multidisciplinary research projects. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, she has served at Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Covenant Polytechnic, Aba. Her academic contributions continue to support advancements in statistical science and applied research in Nigeria and beyond.
