Dr. Debabrata Sarkar is an accomplished academician and sports education professional with extensive experience in teaching, research, administration, and student affairs. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Adamas University since 2022, where he handles multiple academic and institutional responsibilities including NAAC coordination, student affairs, LMS coordination, internship supervision, examination management, and academic planning. He previously worked as a PGT and Head of Department in reputed schools and has over five years of combined experience in higher education and school education. Dr. Sarkar holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and has also qualified prestigious examinations such as NTA-NET, WB-SET, Bihar-STET, WBTET, and AWES-CSB.
His areas of specialization include sports training, sports biomechanics, research methodology, and performance evaluation in cricket and physical education. Dr. Sarkar has authored numerous research papers, edited book chapters, conference proceedings, and copyrights in reputed national and international journals. He actively contributes to academia as a reviewer and editorial board member for several scholarly journals and is associated with professional organizations including ISTE and the South Asia Management Association.
