Dr. Omaimah Abdulbasit Mindalano is a highly accomplished educator, instructional leader, and academic researcher with over a decade of multifaceted experience in school administration and rural education. She holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education from the Philippine Muslim Teachers’ College and a Master of Arts in Education majoring in School Administration from Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia. Dr. Mindalano reached the pinnacle of her academic training by earning a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) majoring in Leadership and Management from Liceo de Cagayan University. A Licensed Teacher and a Certified Research Specialist through the Visionary Research Association, her contributions to academic scholarship were globally recognized at the 1st International Research Conference on Education (IRCE), where she received the prestigious Best Abstract Award for her groundbreaking studies on contemporary educational leadership and institutional management practices.
On the front lines of academic delivery, Dr. Mindalano has served as an impactful Grade Six Adviser at Uya-an Central Elementary School since 2016. Her administrative acumen is reflected in a diverse portfolio of concurrent leadership appointments, including serving as the District Field Administrator, GSP District Coordinator, District Science Coordinator, and School Reading Coordinator. An early pioneer of blended learning paradigms, she has acted as the school’s ICT Coordinator, authored localized Alternative Learning Materials, and produced short educational video modules for the Siyap ko Kapaganad initiative. Dr. Mindalano’s unique ability to build vibrant, student-centered ecosystems has earned her multiple distinct accolades, including being named District Best Teacher for three consecutive years, alongside honors for directing the District’s “Coolest Classroom” and serving as an expert District Demonstrator.
