Dr. Mohd Razilan Bin Abdul Kadir is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer within the School of Information Science at the College of Computing, Informatics and Media, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Puncak Perdana Campus. Certified as a Professional Technologist (Ts.) by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), Dr. Kadir brings a rich interdisciplinary background to his work. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Theology and Philosophy, a Master of Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and a Ph.D. in Digital Libraries from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Malaya. His comprehensive institutional stewardship includes serving as the Head of Center of Studies for Postgraduate Programmes and Coordinator for Postgraduate Programmes at UiTM, where he has driven strategic curriculum design and managed rigorous academic standards. He is also highly active in the broader research community, having served as a session chair for major international conferences in Indonesia and Korea, an interviewer and colloquium panelist for master’s programs, and a thesis examiner across several top-tier Malaysian research universities.Specializing in Information Systems Management, Information Systems Evaluation, and Quantitative Research methodologies, Dr. Kadir has built a distinguished portfolio focused on structural equation modeling and user-centered technology adoption. His extensive research footprint covers the effectiveness of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, usability dimensions of academic digital libraries, and the socio-demographic impacts on ICT diffusion in rural areas. An exceptionally dedicated mentor, he has successfully supervised numerous doctoral and master’s candidates to completion, guiding empirical studies on cloud computing acceptance, electronic records management, and big data adoption. Dr. Kadir’s scholarly outputs are widely published, spanning co-authored monographs like Asas Sistem Maklumat (Prentice Hall) alongside dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and specialized book chapters. His contributions to technological innovation and academic excellence have earned him prestigious distinctions, including the UiTM Excellent Service Award, an Excellent Paper Award from the International Postgraduate Network, and multiple gold and bronze medals at international invention and innovation design competitions.
