He has authored and co-authored foundational studies addressing democratisation, conflict resolution, religious crises, and the historical dynamics of the Boko Haram insurgency—with a key focus on its psychological impact on vulnerable populations, such as the girl-child students of Dapchi, Yobe State. His recent outputs explore juvenile justice system legislation, women in employment, entrepreneurship education, and resource exploration in Northern Nigeria. A prolific writer and commentator, Dr. Ahmed continues to contribute significantly to the historiography of Nigeria through both technical journal publications and broader analytical works on the country’s political evolution.
