Dr. Hadi M. Khazaei, M.D., M.S., MCR is an ophthalmologist, clinical researcher, and academician with extensive international training and professional experience in Ophthalmology, Oculoplastic Surgery, Ocular Oncology, Ocular Pathology, and Orbital Disorders. He earned his MBBS from Bangalore University, India, and postgraduate qualifications in Ophthalmology from PGI Chandigarh, followed by specialized fellowships in Orbit and Oculoplastic Surgery, Ocular Pathology, Ocular Oncology, and Oculoplastic Clinical Practice at leading institutions in India, the United States, Canada, and Australia. He also completed a Master of Clinical Research at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Global Clinical Scholar Research Training at Harvard Medical School, and advanced training in human investigations and medical research. He has held senior clinical and academic positions, including Consultant Oculoplastic and Ocular Oncology Specialist at Aravind Eye Hospital, Head of the Orbit and Oculoplasty Department at Narayana Nethralaya, and Professor of Ophthalmology. He has also served as a Research Scholar in the Ophthalmic Inflammation/Uveitis Division at OHSU and the Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute.Dr. Khazaei’s research focuses on orbital and adnexal diseases, ocular oncology, ocular pathology, orbital inflammatory disorders, thyroid eye disease, and clinical ophthalmic research. His work encompasses tear proteomics and mass spectrometry for the diagnosis and management of orbital inflammatory disorders, clinical assessment of thyroid eye disease, orbital ultrasonography, retinoblastoma, orbital malignancies, lymphoma, orbital trauma and infections, anophthalmic socket rehabilitation, and lacrimal disorders. He has published and presented research internationally on the spectrum of orbital disease, retinoblastoma, ocular pathology, lymphoma, and oculoplastic conditions, and has participated in numerous international ophthalmology and ocular oncology conferences.
