Dr. Silas Ankiabum Ngong is a Cameroonian academic, peace studies scholar, leadership educator, and higher-education administrator serving as the Dean of Academic Affairs and Lecturer at International Leadership University–Cameroon. He holds a PhD in Peace Studies from the International Graduate School of Leadership, Manila, Philippines, a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies, a Master of Divinity in Leadership Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Psychology at Tech Global University, Andorra. Since 2020, he has served as Dean of Academic Affairs, contributing to academic administration, curriculum development, institutional planning, and faculty coordination. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary and supervises master’s theses at several institutions, including International Leadership University and Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary. His professional training includes peacebuilding and community development, curriculum development, sports chaplaincy, military chaplaincy, leadership development, coaching, and fund development.Dr. Ngong’s research interests focus on Peace Studies, Leadership Studies, Financial Flourishing, Community Development, Conflict Transformation, and Faith-Based Leadership. His doctoral research, titled “From Scarcity to Stewardship: A Phenomenological Investigation of Financial Flourishing and Peace among Support-Based Ministers in Cameroon,” explores the relationship between financial wellbeing, stewardship, and peace within Christian ministry contexts. He has also published research examining financial flourishing in Christian ministries in Cameroon. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he serves as a Global Athletes in Action Sports Chaplaincy leader and is actively involved in leadership development, sports ministry, peacebuilding, teaching, mentoring, and community engagement. His academic and professional background makes him well suited for research and peer review in Peace Studies, Leadership Studies, Conflict Resolution, Peacebuilding, Community Development, Religious Studies, Theology, Christian Ministry, Sports Psychology, Communication, and Higher Education Management.
