Dr. Sasireka V. (Veerapathiran) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. With seventeen years of teaching experience and eight years of research experience, she has established herself as a committed educator and an active researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent systems.
Dr. Sasireka began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, followed by a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University. She subsequently pursued her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, laying a strong foundation for her research career.
Her teaching career spans several reputed institutions, beginning as a Lecturer at Arunai Engineering College before advancing to Assistant Professor roles at Arunai College of Engineering, Arunai Engineering College, and Oxford Engineering College. She went on to serve as Associate Professor at M.S. Engineering College before joining M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, where she continues to teach and mentor students in Computer Science and Engineering.
Dr. Sasireka has authored and co-authored numerous research papers published in reputed international and national journals, several of them indexed in Scopus and SCI, and appearing in Q1 and Q2 quartile publications from leading global publishers such as Elsevier. Her published work includes “Optimization Based Multi-Objective Framework in Mobile Social Networks for Crowd Sensing” in Wireless Personal Communications, “Hybrid Optimized Task Scheduling with Multi-Objective Framework for Crowd Sensing in Mobile Social Networks” in Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications, and “A Multi-Task Allocation Based Time Optimization Framework Using Social Networks in Mobile Crowd Sensing” in Instrumentation, Measures, Metrologies. Her more recent research spans data-centric edge intelligence for continual learning in wireless sensor networks, graph attention networks with trust-aware multi-agent reinforcement learning for mobile crowdsensing, blockchain-enabled deep reinforcement learning for task allocation, and LangGraph-orchestrated multi-agent frameworks for personalized investment advisory systems using hybrid forecasting and large language model explainability. She has also contributed a book chapter, “Emerging Sensing and Secure Computing in Mobile Crowdsensing System,” published by Deep Science, and presented her research at international forums including IEEE’s ICIICT conference.
In addition to her journal contributions, Dr. Sasireka has authored books including “Design and Analysis of Algorithms,” published by Alpha International Publication, and a book on Python programming, both aimed at supporting learners in foundational and applied computer science. Her innovative work extends into intellectual property as well, with a filed patent titled “AI and Machine Learning Based Predicting Potential Health Risk by Analysing Patient Data Using Strong Clustering Algorithms and Applications,” underscoring her commitment to translating research into real-world impact, particularly in healthcare analytics.
A firm believer in continuous learning, Dr. Sasireka has actively participated in numerous faculty development programs, workshops, and certifications to stay abreast of evolving trends in her field. These include programs on Agentic AI, research paper writing and publishing in SCI/Scopus indexed journals, next-generation data science covering deep learning, NLP and responsible AI, advanced statistical software and data visualization at Manipal University Jaipur, and a Springer Nature certification on research metrics. She has also participated in international webinars, including one hosted by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and an international workshop on research methods organized in collaboration with Eudoxia Research University, USA, and the Universal World Research Innovation Centre, London, UK.
Beyond her own research, Dr. Sasireka has mentored and guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students across multiple batches at Arunai Engineering College and M.S. Engineering College, supporting their academic and project work in engineering disciplines.
