Mr. Chetwynd Osborne is a Lecturer at the University of Guyana in the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences. He received his BSc in Biology from the University of Guyana (UG), his MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the University of Belize (UB) and his Certificate of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Mr. Osborne is currently pursing PhD studies in Environmental and Life Sciences at Trent University. In addition to his professional work, Mr. Osborne is active in field research and writing of proposals and technical reports that relates to biodiversity conservation and sustainable land management. Majority of Mr. Osborne work and research revolves around SDGs 13, 14, and 15 and he strongly advocates for youth involvement in sustainable development.
