Dr. Kabiru Shehu, an indigene of Azare town, Katagum LGA, Bauchi State Nigeria was born in Potiskum, Borno State (Now Yobe State) in 1976. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State, having academic qualifications as BSc (2000), PGDE (2006), MSc (2010) and PhD (2017) in Geography, Education, Land Resources Development and Environmental Resources Management respectively from Bayero University, Kano, University of Maiduguri and Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola.
