Akaninyene Obot is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He specializes in Agricultural Policy and Project Analysis, Agribusiness and Agricultural Finance. He is also volunteering as a Focal Person for Ukana West 2 Community Based Health Initiative (CBHI), Nigeria. Akaninyene Obot has over 9years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on community health. He was working as the Program Manager in the Ukana West 2 Community Based Health Initiative (CBHI) before his lecturing appointment. After his lecturing appointment because of his vast knowledge and experience in the health sector, he volunteered as the Focal Person. CBHI focuses on pooling resources together to meet the health need of the community people and equal access to affordable quality healthcare service at the Primary Health Centre, Ikot Ideh, on good governance, initiating, designing and implementing of health activities for the communities.
