Dr. Md. Shah Alam obtained B.Com.(Hons) in Accounting in 1977 and M.com in Accounting in 1978 from University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh. He received PhD in Commerce from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and conducted Post-doctoral research on FDI at Pune University in India. He participated about three dozen international conferences and published about two and half dozen articles in the international reputed journals.
