Hezekiah Daramola OLANIRAN (Ph.D), a lecturer at the Department of Geography, University of Ibadan holds Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geography from the University of Ibadan. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in GIS from Federal School of Surveying Oyo, Oyo State, Nigeria. His research interest is in the areas of Urban Geography, Quantitative techniques, Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing, Geoheritage, Geography of Communication and Regional Development. He has published in local and international Journals. He has also contributed chapters to various edited books. He belongs to several professional and academic bodies including; Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), African Association of Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE) and Urban Geography Forum. He enjoys reading, travelling, helping the needy.
