Muawya Ahmed Hussein received the PhD degree in Economics (2018). He is currently an assistant professor of economics with the Department of Finance and Economics, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Dhofar University, Oman. His research interests include environmental economics, financial economics, economics of education and economic development. Hussein published many papers in many reputable journals that are indexed in Web of Science that have good impact factor as journals indexed in Scopus. He has also served as a reviewer for many well-reputed conferences, including as well as acting as a reviewer for several reputable journals. He is College’s convener of Master Program in Management. Moreover, he served as Chair for the Department of Accounting and Finance for three years before splitting the department into two Department of Finance & Economics and Department of Accounting. He has experience of teaching in universities more than 20 years.
