Jamila is an educationist, entrepreneur, an advocate of peace and women empowerment, married and a mother of five. For over a decade, she has dedicated herself towards up-liftment and promotion of women and girl-child through education, mentoring, leadership training, and all round development. This makes her to work at different capacities, in collaboration with the State Government, Local and International Organisations such as Foundation for Youth Awakening and Empowerment (FOYEA), the United Nations (UN Women), Women International League for Peace and Freedom, UNICEF, and now with USAID. Jamila is currently a lecturer and a researcher at the State College of Education Billiri, teaching English Language and its Literature. Mrs Sulaiman holds a B. A. Ed English and a Master Degree in English Education. She is currently an Editor with the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Sciences (IJRISS), a registered teacher with Teachers Registration Council Nigeria, Women in Colleges of Education (WICE), and Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Gombe State Chapter.
