Professor Anne Sande is a distinguished academic serving as a Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at Chuka University, Kenya. With a robust educational background, including a Ph.D. and Master’s Degrees in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Education and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management, Professor Sande brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her academic journey spans over three decades, during which she has made significant contributions to various fields including Science Education, Community Development, Disaster Management, Sociology, and related social sciences. As a seasoned educator, she has been instrumental in shaping the minds of students at Chuka University, imparting knowledge and fostering critical thinking among learners. Furthermore, her mentorship and supervision of postgraduate students, both at the Master’s and Ph.D. levels, highlight her commitment to nurturing the next generation of scholars. Professor Sande’s dedication to academic excellence is evident through her role as a paper reviewer for Chuka University journals, where she has diligently ensured the quality and rigor of scholarly publications for the past five years.
