Immediately after my compulsory National Youth Service Corp in 1991. I joined the Federal Ministry of Education, at this employment I was privilege to travel round the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amongst other institutions, I worked at Atlantic Hall, a co-educational secondary school located in Epe Lagos Nigeria. I was the Institution Examination Officer, I headed the Admission Committee a member of the School disciplinary committee and served as chairman of several committee, and highly involved in the teaching and learning of Mathematics as well as research and community development. I also worked at Wellspring University, Benin City where I was appointed as an Assistant lecturer September 2008 and promoted to the position of lecturer II by January 2011, I was appointed as the Academic Planning Officer, was the Head of Mathematics department for over four years, Chairman University Accreditation Committee and coordinator of the IJMB programs.
I am a High‐performing, strategic‐thinking professionally qualified university faculty with over 20 years of varied teaching and research experiences, I have enough of experience in mentoring and coaching teaching staff in university system providing internal development, team effectiveness and leadership development to consulting to all levels in the university. This institution is an example of one university where I can maximize my training experience, program development skills and my teaching abilities. I am self-assured that my passion for the mathematics’ and student’s development, together with my skills and experience will enable me to make a significant impart in mathematics community, our university and human kind in general. I am hardworking, emotionally and physically stable, reliable and intelligent. I can work independently with little or no supervision. I have also worked as an Adjunct lecturer to Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa and Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. I have used my knowledge of Information and Communications Technology understanding to break down barriers of apathy and mistrust so that meaningful partnerships can be forged between community and law enforcement agencies.
The outstanding features are: I was employed on September 6, 2014 as Lecturer II in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology/Mathematics in Igbinedion University Okada, Edo State. I was promoted to the position of Lecturer I with effect from October 1st, 2016. For over four (4) years I worked as a lecturer in the department of Computer Science and Information Technology/Mathematics and have being appointed chairman to various committee. A pragmatic, seasoned lecturer with highly proficient management skills of about 20 years’ experience in both classroom and in management. A very efficient and organized individual, with enviable leadership qualities, highly reliable and hardworking. Totally flexible but yet firm with great adaptability skills in any learning environment. So far Dr Asibor has over 16 publications in learned journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Asibor is not just a scholar but also an author of repute. Dr Asibor’s vision for higher education in Nigeria and Africa is concisely captured in the following sentence: Using computational mathematics to solve/liberate black race from mental servitude through impartation of sound knowledge for economic and segregational freedom culminating in a race of free spirits.
