Dr. Qilin Xuan holds a Ph.D. in Psycholinguistics from Universiti Sains Malaysia, an MTI from Kunming University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Xinzhou Normal University.
He has over ten years of experience teaching university-level English and has published more than fifteen academic manuscripts both in Chinese and English versions, two co-authored books, and one translated work. His research includes over eight national and provincial-level projects and one patent.
Dr. Xuan serves as Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board Member, and Reviewer for several international journals, and as an Expert Committee Member for global English competitions. The teaching portfolio includes a broad range of university-level English courses such as New Item English, New Concept English, International Cambridge English, Spoken English, Reading, Listening, Writing, Translation Theory, and Interpretation and Translation.
As a dedicated frontline educator, his pedagogical philosophy centers on cultivating students’ intercultural communicative competence and promoting immersive English instruction.
He firmly believes that language acquisition is inseparable from cultural learning, and that the ultimate goal of language education lies in the effective dissemination of cultural understanding.
