Dr. Muzaffar Syah Mallow is a Malaysian academician, social and legal reformist. Currently, Dr. Muzaffar Syah Mallow is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Muzaffar Syah Mallow is actively involved with many non-governmental groups (NGOs) and involved in many public discourses to uphold human rights. He has contributed articles to various media outlets, addressing topics such as the decriminalization of attempted suicide in Malaysia, emphasizing the importance of addressing over many complex issues with sensitivity. He has also called for clearer anti-corruption guidelines, particularly concerning aid distribution during election campaign in order to ensure transparency and accountability. He has also spoken a lot concerning the protection over young children and safeguarding their welfare’s. In line with his area of expertise, he has also requested all working sectors in Malaysia to create conducive working environment and take steps to prevent hostile working environment. He has also requested the Malaysia government to take step to address with the issue of discrimination in the country comprehensively.
