Motunrayo Adebayo is a seasoned privacy and compliance professional with a multidisciplinary background in law, data protection, and information technology. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a Master of Science (MSc) in Management Information Technology from Indiana Wesleyan University. With over three years of experience spanning the EU, Nigerian, and U.S. privacy landscapes, Motunrayo has developed and led privacy programs across industries including healthcare, finance, technology, and nutrition.
Her expertise lies in auditing and implementing regulatory frameworks such as the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and ISO 27001, as well as designing privacy-by-design systems that align with organizational goals. She has conducted full-cycle privacy impact assessments (PIAs), vendor risk reviews, transfer impact assessments (TIAs), and drafted privacy policies, contracts, and compliance playbooks.
Motunrayo is currently exploring the intersection of privacy, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Her recent research and capstone project focus on privacy-preserving machine learning and AI risk governance. She serves as an Expert-in-Residence with the Privacy Exchange Community and is a contributing member of the Standards Committee at the Institute of Privacy by Design.
