Ms. Kousalya Padmanabhan is a Ph.D. researcher in Food Science at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her work focuses on microbial fermentation, functional food development, food metabolomics, and probiotic characterization. She holds a Master’s degree in Food Science with Business Management from UCSI University, Malaysia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Kumaraguru College of Technology, India. In addition to her research, she has served as a lecturer at Nerdy Grad and currently contributes as an Associate Editor for the Asian Journal of Nutrition and Food Science. She has authored multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in the areas of probiotic functional beverages, antioxidant evaluation, and microbial safety. She is committed to advancing food biotechnology through research, peer review, and academic collaboration.
