Farombi Oluyinka Emmanuel is a dynamic and passionate researcher in the field of Computer Science with strong expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Edge Computing. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria, with a research focus on the design and simulation of federated learning algorithms for real-time healthcare decision-making in edge environments.
He holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Over the years, he has contributed to cutting-edge research at the Advanced Software Research Lab, LAUTECH, working on diverse topics including disease prediction using ensemble classifiers, SMS spam detection using deep learning models, and weather forecasting with Bayesian Model Averaging techniques.
Farombi has served as a Graduate Research Assistant, collaborating with professors and mentoring over 30 graduate students. His experience also spans teaching undergraduate courses in programming, data structures, and computer architecture, as well as professional roles in IT support and systems management.
