Oluremi Hamid is the Founder and CEO of Hydren Energy, a renewable energy company specializing in Solar PV system installations and hybrid power solutions for businesses, institutions, and homeowners across Nigeria. The company delivers end-to-end clean energy services, encompassing technical assessment, system design, installation, commissioning, and post-sales support. Oluremi is a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). She serves on the Board of Trustees for the TechWomen Nigeria Association and the Association of Energy Engineers (Nigeria Chapter). She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
A recognized leader in energy, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment, Oluremi is the recipient of the prestigious American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowship. She is also a TechWomen Fellow, Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur, Vital Voices Fellow, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Growth Fellow, and an alumna of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. She is a Certified Trainer in Solar PV Installation and Minigrid Systems and in Energy Management and Auditing, accredited by GIZ and the Nigerian Energy Support Programme.
