Dr. Kailash Chandra Paul is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, Dhenkanal, Odisha, India. He completed his undergraduate studies at U.N. College, Soro, Odisha, and then earned a Bachelor’s degree from Utkal University. Dr. Paul holds three Postgraduate degrees- M.Sc. in Mathematics from Sambalpur University, M.Phil. from Global Open University, Nagaland, and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Utkal University. He earned a Ph.D. from GIET University, Gunpur, Odisha, specializing in the Design and Implementation of Inventory Management Systems. With over 18 years of teaching experience and 4 years of dedicated research work, Dr. Paul has guided more than 25 M.Sc. Students in their dissertations. A dedicated academician and researcher, he is committed to advancing knowledge in the field of Applied Mathematics, particularly in the area of inventory modelling and supply chain management. He has published many research publications in reputed journals and conferences. Dr. Paul’s research expertise lies in the design and Implementation of Inventory models with a strong focus on optimizing the decision-making within supply chain systems. His work integrates mathematical modelling, operational research techniques, and real-world applications to enhance the efficiency, responsiveness, and sustainability of modern supply chains. Throughout his academic journey. Dr. Paul has contributed to the development of an analytical frameworks that support strategic inventory control, Cost minimization, and Demand forecasting. His research has practical relevance for the manufacturing and logistics industries, particularly in addressing challenges related to uncertain demand, lead times, and research constraints.
