Dr. A. Santha Devi is a dynamic and accomplished Assistant Professor of English in the Department of Humanities, where she has been a dedicated educator since 2011, bringing over two decades of rich teaching experience.

Awarded her Ph.D. in 2021, she has since authored more than five scholarly book chapters and presented over 25 papers at national and international conferences.

A recognized leader in academic development, Dr. Devi has organized over 50 programs, including faculty development programs, seminars, and workshops, fostering pedagogical innovation and intellectual exchange.

She is also an active participant in the academic community, having attended over 100 professional development events.

Demonstrating her spirit of innovation, she conceptualized and developed an original academic tool, for which she was awarded a design patent in December 2024. Her work was supported by institutional seed funding, showcasing both the practical and creative dimensions of her scholarly pursuits.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Devi has served as a jury member for an MBA Makathon and has been a resource person and internal conference coordinator for sessions on Indian Knowledge Systems across the Indian subcontinent, where she also chaired sessions.

She is deeply committed to student mentorship, guiding learners in preparing for competitive and academic examinations. She also serves as the advisor to the Quiz Club, nurturing intellectual curiosity, leadership, and critical thinking beyond the curriculum.
