Philip Danso is a graduate researcher and teaching assistant in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University, Corvallis, where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Mathematics. His academic and research focus lies at the intersection of Applied Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with interests spanning curriculum development, technology integration in math classrooms, and inquiry-based learning methods. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, where he graduated with distinction. His undergraduate research included forecasting Ghana’s interest rates using artificial neural networks, reflecting his ability to connect mathematical theory with real-world applications. Philip has over three years of academic and instructional experience, having served as a Teaching Assistant at KNUST and currently as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, where he teaches PreCalculus & Calculus courses.
