Dr. Asma’u Bello Abubakar, PhD, FIMC, CMS, is a Nigerian academic, management professional, and organisational behaviour and development expert. She holds a PhD in Management and an MBA from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. She serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at the same university from 2022 to date, following a career progression through various academic ranks.Dr. Abubakar has professional experience in the Nigerian banking sector, having worked with NUB International Bank Limited, United Bank for Africa Plc, and Access Bank Plc. She also serves as General Manager and Head of Human Resources and Administration at Rano Capital Limited, Abuja. She is also Chief Executive Officer of Sublime Newage Consultancy Services, Board Advisor to Deodotti Limited Nigeria, and Board Member of the Institute for Peace and Progress, Accra, Ghana.Her professional interests include organisational behaviour, human resource management, organisational development, employee performance, corporate governance, and institutional effectiveness.
