Dr. Alex Uriri is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG) Lagos, Nigeria. His academic background traverses two disciplines. Apart from holding a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Population Geography, Alex Uriri is a qualified Lawyer- a Product of the Nigerian Law School. He was a Participant at the University of Oxford’ Winter School on Demography, 2014 and a Delegate to the Commonwealth Summer Schools held in Malaysia (University of Nottingham (2014)) and in Canada (Universities of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University & Western University (2015). He also undertook a short credit course on Global Health and Climate Change at the Umea University, Sweden in 2015. Dr. Alex Uriri has an enthusiasm for and a commitment to Development Work, leadership, Good Governance, Reproductive Health and Rights, Social and Spatial Justice & Legal Geographies.
