Alice A. Anika is a Senior lecturer at Pwani University Kilifi Kenya, School of Education, Department of Educational Psychology and Special Needs. Her academic qualifications are Bed (Linguistics), M.ed (Educational Psychology), and PhD (Educational Psychology and counselling) from Kenyatta University- Nairobi Kenya. She has a wide background in Counselling Psychology (Higher Diploma and Certificate) Kenya Professional Counselling Association (KPCA), she is a certified BACP e-therapy and telephone counselling with UK based Counsellor Tutor professionals, certified HIV/AIDS and Gender from basic knowledge to Good practice with GIZ Academy and NASSCOP Kenya. Alice has a wide knowledge of experience in various international and local project management, Mentorship programmes and psycho-social support programmes. She also has training in Research Ethics and Evaluation with the Clinical trials Centre University of Hong Kong and another with the University of Kwazulu –Natal in conjunction with Kemri –Wellcome Trust Kenya. She has done a lot of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science (IJRISS) Editorial Board publications.
