Dr. Annbeth B. Calla is a veteran academic administrator, higher education leader, and behavioral scientist who currently serves as the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. in Davao City. She holds an extensive administrative portfolio, having previously served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Institutional Registrar, and senior faculty member at Dr. P. Ocampo Colleges in Cotabato City. Dr. Calla’s foundational expertise in human behavior and early development is backed by a Doctor of Education from Notre Dame University, a Master of Arts in Educational Management from Xavier University, a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Elementary Education majoring in Pre-school. Her leadership in regional educational alignment is further reflected in her role as the Secretary for the Council of Deans for Teacher Education Institutions (CODTEI). At the forefront of multidisciplinary educational research, Dr. Calla’s investigative portfolio centers on total quality management, 21st-century pedagogical metrics, social media impacts on vulnerable youth, and regional socio-economic programs like Project LAWA in Davao de Oro.
