I have a strong background in disaster risk reduction and management, and I have dedicated my career to enhancing resilience and promoting sustainable practices. As a consultant, I have developed comprehensive disaster business continuity programs for organizations like Dole (Stanfilco) Philippines, improving their preparedness and resilience. I have also conducted employee trainer training, collaborated with tripartite groups on disaster resiliency and natural farming, and provided expert advice to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Tagum.
As an international research technical reviewer, I have contributed to esteemed publications such as the Journal of Public and Non-Profit Affairs and the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science. My research contributions have influenced policy and ordinances, focusing on disaster resiliency intervention programs and qualitative frameworks for disaster and nutrition.
Currently, I am involved in ongoing research projects, including the challenges of housing projects in Tagum City and the concept of disaster resiliency for children in education. With extensive academic experience, I have served as a professor and chairperson at Davao del Norte State College, teaching programs in public administration and disaster resiliency. I am also a special author and writer for the Bachelor of Science in Disaster Resiliency & Management program.
In addition to my academic and consulting work, I have been involved with renowned organizations such as the United Nations World Food Program and Plan International, contributing to monitoring, research, and evaluation efforts in disaster response and preparedness.
