Ayowole Samuel Ajiboye, MSW, LSW is a licensed social worker, clinical counselor, and award-winning social impact professional dedicated to advancing mental health and community wellbeing. He earned his Master of Social Work degree from Case Western Reserve University, graduating with an impressive 3.98/4.00 CGPA. He currently serves as a clinical counselor at Signature Health in the United States, where he delivers trauma-informed, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, youth, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
His scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed research on trauma, suicide prevention, and adolescent mental health, highlighted by a recent co-authored study on trauma-informed care in schools. He has also served as a peer reviewer for academic journals, reflecting his commitment to strengthening the body of knowledge in mental and public health.
Ayowole’s impact and leadership have been recognized through numerous honors, including the Irene Sogg Gross Award for Humanitarian Service (2025), the Dr. Dorothy Pijan Student Leadership Award (2023–2024), the Unity Banquet Award (2024), the Dean’s Merit Scholarship (2023), and the United Nations Outstanding Service Award (2019) for his work advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria.
