I, Ekpo Charles George, was born in Ikot Nte Iman, Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in 1964. I started my primary education at the Salvation Army School, Ikot Ibok/ Ikot Nte, Etinan, Akwa Ibom State in 1969 and completed in 1975. I then enrolled in a correspondence course with the Rapid Results Correspondence College, London, and obtained my school certificate within two sittings in 1993/1994. In 1995, I went to the University of Calabar where I started a Diploma Programme in Environmental Education with Political Science as my teaching subject and graduated in 1996 at credit level. After that, I continued my studies in Environmental Education at the University of Calabar and graduated in 2002 with 2nd Class Honours Upper Division. I also enrolled in the Evening Law Programme of the University of Calabar between 1999 and 2005; and graduated with 2nd Class Lower Division (LLB Hons) in 2005. In 2006, I went to the Nigerian Law School, Bwari Abuja, after passing the prescribed course, I was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. I also obtained my Masters in Environmental Education in 2007 at the University of Calabar. In 2016, I obtained my Doctoral Degree in Science Education (Environmental Education) from the University of Abuja. For a living, I was engaged on part-time jobs for various organizations such as the British American Insurance Company PLC, George Charles International Company Limited; Chekalsons Ent. (Nig.); and Ndoma-Egba-Ebri & Associates between 1981 and 2008. In 2008, I joined the University of Abuja as a lecturer in the Department of Science and Environmental Education, and has since been involved in active teaching, teaching practice supervision, and project supervision for both regular, sandwich and Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) undergraduate students, and have been carrying out to the best of my ability other duties assigned to me by my Head of Department and/or the Dean of my Faculty. Presently, I am the Coordinator of Environmental Education in the Department, as well as, the Departmental SIWES Coordinator. I have attended many conferences and workshops in education and law within and outside the University. I have equally published a number of Articles in reputable local and international Journals; and have also written and co-authored many books.
