As a university senior lecturer and active researcher with a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, my role is multifaceted, spanning teaching, research, supervision, grant writing, and academic service. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in applied mathematics, where I strive to create an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment. My responsibilities include developing course materials, delivering lectures, guiding tutorials, and mentoring students to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications.
As Dean of the School of Education and Business Studies, I also provide strategic leadership, oversee academic programs, and ensure quality assurance in teaching and research.
In my research capacity, I am engaged in advancing knowledge in applied mathematics through the formulation of theoretical models, data analysis, and the dissemination of findings in reputable journals and conferences. I supervise postgraduate students, guiding them through their thesis development and research processes. Additionally, I serve as a reviewer for academic journals, ensuring scholarly rigor and contributing to the broader academic discourse. My service to the university includes participation in committees, collaboration in outreach initiatives, and fostering partnerships that promote mathematics and its relevance to societal development.
