Dr. Dennis Kuyenda Lembani works with Plan International Zambia and has worked in Development sector and complex humanitarian sector for more than 10 years, implementing missions in Zambia, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. At these missions Dennis served in many positions: Executive Director; Programs Development Manager; Regional Program Coordinator, Team Leader; Trainer; Community Mobilization Specialist and an expert in field operations. Dennis worked as an activist in supporting and advocating for rights of the vulnerable people. He is also known for his expert training & teaching skills to international audiences: from humanitarian workers, government officials, academic students and community members & leaders. Dennis had been involved in strategic planning & development, program proposals development, consultancy, research, training, teaching, coaching, mentoring and managing projects. His Research Interest Includes • Adult Literacy / education in community development/rural communities. • Social media in Adult Education & Social Development • Adult Literacy/ Education in Climate Change and Sustainable Development • Non-Formal Education in the context of education for rural development • Literacy, poverty alleviation & national development.
