Dr. Donald Hlahla is a Zimbabwean academic, researcher, governance specialist, management consultant, and executive development practitioner with more than 35 years of professional experience across public administration, corporate governance, organisational development, strategic management, human resource management, leadership, performance management, and higher education. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Corporate Governance from the University of Namibia/Namibia Business School, an MBA from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Zimbabwe. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant/Consultant at the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM), where he contributes to governance and institutional development, strategic planning, organisational performance, leadership and change management, human resource development, research and policy analysis, executive education, and public-sector transformation. His extensive career has included senior roles such as HR Executive, HR Manager, Administration Manager, Senior Administrative Officer for Planning, Lecturer, Dean of Graduate Studies, and Director General/General Manager, providing him with a strong practitioner-researcher perspective across public-sector and organisational environments.Dr. Hlahla’s scholarly work focuses on Corporate Governance, Public-Sector Governance, Board Governance and Effectiveness, Leadership and Management, Strategic Management, Organisational Performance, Human Capital Development, Emotional Intelligence, Change Management, Public Administration, and Institutional Development.
