Dr. Ezeokafor Emmanuel Nonso is a Nigerian academic, researcher, and laboratory technologist in the Department of Human Physiology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Abia State University, alongside an M.Sc. and PGD in Physiology, a PGD in Education, and a PGD in HIV Education and Management. With over 15 years of academic and laboratory experience, he has served in various capacities including Laboratory Technologist, Senior Laboratory Technologist, Principal Laboratory Technologist, Assistant Chief Technologist, and currently Lecturer I in Human Physiology. His professional affiliations include the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology and the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
Dr. Ezeokafor’s research interests focus on physiology, toxicology, hematology, pharmacology, and natural product therapeutics. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in both national and international journals, covering areas such as hepatoprotection, reproductive physiology, oxidative stress, toxicology, malaria, cardiovascular physiology, and biomedical laboratory science. He has actively participated in scientific conferences, workshops, and capacity-building programs related to laboratory management, animal research ethics, and physiological sciences. Through his teaching, research, and scientific contributions, he continues to advance knowledge in biomedical and physiological sciences while supporting academic and professional development in higher education.
