Dr. Francis Kipkoech Chirchir is a Kenyan finance professional, academic, and certified public accountant. He holds a PhD in Finance from Egerton University (2016–2024), a Master of Science in Finance from Kenyatta University, and a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance & Banking) from Moi University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK) and has additional theological qualifications, including a Master of Theology and ongoing Doctorate in Leadership & Administration. His academic research focuses on corporate finance, capital structure, governance, risk management, and financial performance of firms listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. He has extensive teaching and professional experience in higher education institutions, including Kirinyaga University and Kabarak University, where he lectures finance, accounting, and business courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also served as Head of Internal Audit at Kirinyaga University and Internal Auditor at Egerton University, with earlier experience in accounting roles in the University of Nairobi and Capital Airtime Limited. Dr. Chirchir has published peer-reviewed research in international journals and actively contributes to academic development through teaching, auditing, research, and training in financial management and risk systems.
