Dr. Gary P. Lagatiera, LPT, EdD, serves as the College President of the Monkayo College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology (MonCAST). His career at MonCAST spans pivotal leadership roles, including Academic Program Head, Dean of Teacher Education, and College Administrator.Beyond his leadership at MonCAST, Dr. Lagatiera is a prominent figure in national and regional academic governance. He serves as the Interim President of the Davao Region Association of Local Colleges and Universities (DRALCU), a Board Member of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) Philippines, the Lead Person for Mindanao on the ALCUCOA Research Council, and an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines.A seasoned educator with over 20 years of classroom and administrative experience, Dr. Lagatiera earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Management from the University of Mindanao and completed the prestigious CHED-AIM Global Academic Leadership Program at the Asian Institute of Management.
