Dr. Idris M. Bello was born and brought up in Mayo-Kila, Mapeo District, Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State. He joined the service of University of Maiduguri as a Graduate Assistant in 2013. He is a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Linguistics, University of Maiduguri. He was a level Coordinator from 2016 – 2021 and Assistant Faculty Representative in the Senate Committee on Course Systems from 2018 – 2021. He holds Ph.D. in General Linguistics, specializing in Fulfulde linguistics. He teaches linguistics and Fulfulde at the above-named department. His articles are published locally, nationally and internationally. Some of his research articles were published in Cameroon, Germany, Kuwait, China and Russia.
