Dr. Isaac Nyame is a faculty member at the Faculty of Education, University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. He holds a PhD and an MPhil in Special Education, a BSc in Psychology, a B.Ed. in Basic Education, and a Diploma in Basic Education. With extensive experience in the education sector, he has served as a teacher and headteacher in basic schools, a tutor in a college of education, and currently contributes to teacher education and research in special and inclusive education.
As a special educator, consultant, and trainer, Dr. Isaac Nyame focuses on enhancing inclusive pedagogies and supporting teachers in implementing special and inclusive education practices. His research interests are in the areas of special and inclusive education, innovative and inclusive pedagogies, career development and transition planning for learners with special educational needs and disabilities, and the quality of life of persons with disabilities.
Dr. Isaac Nyame actively engages in research collaborations both locally and internationally and serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals in his field.
