Dr. Julie Grace K. Mi-ing is an Associate Professor 5 at the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) now Mountain Province State University (MPSU) in Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines. She currently teaches at the School of Teacher Education and serves as the Program Chair of the School of Advanced Education, overseeing the Master of Arts in Teaching English program. Dr. Mi-ing holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in English, a Master of Arts in English as a Second Language, and a Doctor of Education degree. Her research interests include culture and the arts, language and literature teaching, action research, and campus journalism training through extension activities with partner schools. Dr. Mi-ing has also participated in educational events, such as evaluations and presentations of teachers’ outputs, contributing to the advancement of educational practices in the region. Her contributions to the academic community are marked by her commitment to enhancing educational practices and promoting cultural awareness. Dr. Mi-ing continues to play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape at MPSU through her teaching, research, and leadership roles.
